So if she has two uteruses, does that mean one of them is nonfunctional? Or can she bleed/have children with both of them. I’m genuinely curious.
My mom struggles with this, The way she says it sounds like it’s a good thing but the dark part about having it is they do have two periods and they can happen at the same time or one after the other which can be pretty painful and draining and not even counting how much blood you lose, especially the body issues you have because your body is going through something that isn’t normal so it changes your body function. There’s also a possibility of this condition causing internal bleeding. The women who have this condition feel as if they are a freak because no one talks about it. She was never supposed to have children and almost died giving birth but she made it through, so I really think we should start talking about it even if it’s rare for the people who are effected by it

I feel like Daz should start a podcast! I have no I idea what it would be about but I feel like it would be great and I don't even like podcasts.
So what is bothering me is she doesn’t have two “Vaginas” 🤦🏻♀️she has two uteruses. There are many different forms of this I have one called Bicornuate you can look it up. She had different opens to her uteruses. The effects to having this is not having a regular period many need to take medication to help it come on every month like birth control. Also to get pregnant is harder, crazy I know, even though women who have this have two and it’s a higher risk of losing the baby. Another thing is most need a c-section because of this and not aware that they have two until they are pregnant and go to the ultrasound tech. appointment. Trust me my mom said I was making shit up and crazy and when I showed her my ultrasound and told her what the tech said then she looked it up and she was like “omg you weren’t lying ew you’re weird.” Trust me it not the best bc all my babies will be premies and be in the nicu. Another thing is women with two can get pregnant when pregnant in the other uterus because of this it’s very rare but possible.
