Except for the WOW factor I would not use 50% or more of this ship and at the price of approximately $2000/for an interior cabin I will pass.
I understand Royal Carribbian let build this ship as its a commercial company. But happiness and feeling well are not granted with offering the biggest cruiseship. Its too much, way too big and it shows we still dont realize we are ‘overspending our natural souces’. I am a fan of spending my holiday on a ship but not on this one. We should realize the next generations also like to enjoy a nice life without having to battle abouth the leftovers for energy… Enjoy your holiday anyway if you step on board.

This ship looks so amazing. It will be years before I get on this but that is ok. I have so many ships to discover.
Not including the solarium might be a mistake. On cooler, windy even hot days, where will folks go to relax? The overlook is nice but it’s not the solarium.
They gave us a dedicated USB-outlet and didn’t even make it USB-C?
To top it off, lemme guess… It’s probably a 5W trickle charging one, right?
I was really concerned about the lack of storage (so much less than Odyssey Symphony newer ships) until I just found out that the full length mirror is actually a door. Once the door is open the safe is there along with floor to ceiling shelves. Very nice including easy straight-in access to the safe.

I love those elevators. Not sure what the real name is, but I've started calling them smart elevators. I'm sure there's some clever programming behind them because wait times are significantly lower with these types of elevators. I first came across them on a Carnival ship. They really clean up the issues standard elevators have on cruise ships which have many floors and high traffic.

Ew. Looks like an outdated ship from 2010. Horrendous compared to the cartoon renderings. Central Park is outrageously ugly and the colors are distracting and cheap/old looking. Never going on it. Royal really failed with this one.👎🤮

Love your videos. Been watching them for weeks now as I am finally hoping to do some cruises in the next few years. My first-ever cruise should be later this year or early next year. I'll be using you as my travel agent. Although I'm not sure I'll be able to afford the Icon of the seas for my first cruise I will book it one day. The Central Park area is what I am most excited about.
No matter how many videos about cruises I watch and no matter how many friends tell me how they love cruises, I still have no desire to go a cruise. I would love to tour a cruise ship, but not live on it!
I would have to explore everywhere on the ship and take tons of pictures.
I see where Royal pulled a last-minute switch and made the Hideaway adults only instead of Cloud 17. This literally happened about 4 days ago.

Even if I were to book a cruise I'd be concerned about a serious incident involving evacuation. As miniscule a chance it would happen how would passengers be rescued?
The Costa Concordia was right next to shore, while captains error people were still lucky it was on the bottom not sinking completely.
Same reason I wouldn't live any higher up in a building than a ladder truck could reach. I worked in a dangerous environment for decades, guess it made me a pessimist aka an optimist with experience.

It's a bargain: You sell your kidney for tickets, and you sell your child's kidney to be able to afford food during the trip and to do some activities.
my first cruise was on the Oasis of the Seas from Rotterdam, over two weeks I have my 18 th cruise! With the Euribia from Rotterdam!
All I see is a place to go bankrupt all the bars all the restaurants you have to pay where your cruise fare goes from $3000 to $10,000 as you have to PAY for everything they can keep this dump. I’ll stick Disney and Norwegian

This looks so awful compared to Oasis class ships. Something about the design and colors used already make it look dated. My jaw dropped when you showed the room— it already looks ANCIENT and that it needs an update.
The pastel colors seem overdone and not very relaxing feeling.
