To the poster, next time maybe add a little more to title or description like what girl did to cheat. That would prevent all the sarcastic comments…just an idea
It’s a foot fault. In non officiated match it can only be a warning. If not called then not a violation. To the electrician, plumber and lawyer I’m a HS coach.
I’ve been playing tennis for freaking 4 years and this person who posted this short saying that she “cheated” is certainly not true. There is no possible way to cheat in tennis. That guy was just too slow.
she’s standing on the right side of the court while she´s hitting the ball. A cheater is acting in order to obtain an unfair advantage. It s not the case here.
At the start of her service motion, her right foot is clearly on the wrong side of the imaginary extension of the center mark behind the baseline. That IS a service fault.
It's the position of her right foot on the serve. It's not supposed to cross the center line. Same thing tripped Medvedev up. Players who put their right foot behind them as they start their service motion while serving to the deuce court need to move to the right so the foot doesn't cross the center line. Same applies to lefties but when serving towards the ad side.
Yes, it's a foot fault. However, I wouldn't call it cheating. Cheating means that you were trying to get an unfair advantage through intentional breaking of the rules. In other words, you knew what you did, you intended to do it, you knew it was against the rules, and you did it anyhow.
That doesn't apply here. If you look at her eyes, she's clearly focused on getting her service correct, and that she isn't looking for the center mark. Her eyes are also to the right of the service box, so she may just have assumed that her feet were to the right of the mark.
Yes, this was a foot fault, and a violation of the rules of tennis. But that's all it was. It was an honest mistake, and therefore she's not cheating.
Without looking at explanation I can tell you it’s a foot fault. She may not be aware of the rule so it’s not cheating, rather an error.Shes not doing it on purpose.
Guys she's cheating because on her serve her left foot crossed the small line at the centre of the baseline – not really an enforced rule but still technically cheating!!
How the heck do you even 'cheat' in tennis? Like, aren't referees supposed to be there to catch those damn 'faults'? I ain't played it much but I sure as heck can't tell much when making the first move.
I do not thik that right foot back over the middle of the court at the very beginning of the video just before putting it in a pinpoint stance, is a foot fault. As a advanced tennis player, I must say I‘m not sure. ¿Could anyone corfirm it? Thanks 🎾🔥.

She stepped over the middle line on her serve. That is not allowed and therefore is considered cheating.
I assume they are talking about her foot being to the left of the line during her serve.
