  1. THE number one christian themed game is The Veil. (+) you get to meet God. (+) no replay of jews in a desert, thank you very much.

  2. ideas/story/setting/suggestion for both a storytelling rpg boardgame/cardgame and/or a action adventure interactive video gamegame ( please steal it !!!) u play as a common roman soldier, just being transferred from rome to jerusalem (because of bad behaviour?) 7 months before the crucifixion.after the first 2 months you become a spy for the roman empire after doing normal soldier jobs cuz the jewish priests concern is growing bcuz of this "magical" miracle carpenter preacher guy from Nazareth and they complain to the romans about this matter..u make a lot of choices in the game , that really MATTERS, talking to many npc, both real in bible historical history but also fictional ones πŸ™ like the resurrected son of his mother in nain, the brother of the healed leper in shiloah, the youngest sister of jesus himself, Mary's aunt, Peter's nephew, caiphas son in law, pilates son, herods daughter in law, Nicodemus's father, josephs grandmother, john the baptist's sister , the organizer of the wedding miracle in cana, etc, GO WILD !! 😊)u get attacked by animals u have to kill, bandits and criminals u can choose to kill or not, (but it might affect yer total point score negatively or positively in the end of the game of course , depending on the current situation )u can choose 1 time before the crucifixion if u wanna follow jesus or not after u meet him ( if u choose to ? ) or one time after the crucifixion to embrace christianity or not…(this is like chapter 2 ,and ends 3 months after th3 resurrection! )u solve minor puzzles and challengesevery choice u make in the game matters and will unlock or block future choices or branding events, making no two games the same and different and unique, perfect for re runs and replayability!!😊the game has night and day cycles u have to manage sleeping, eating and drinking, energy and resting in a meter based style, ( this should be an options to turn off for hard mode tho)many new testament locations directly tied to but also others not so known historical or biblical known locations in the old land of israel, like but not restricted to : galilee, capernaum, joppe, gibeon, hebron, Bethlehem sikem , samaria, Tyre, sidon, betsaida, betel, gilgal, ashdod, Jericho ,endor, bersheba, jaffa, emmaus, gerasenes, decapolis, Bethany, sychar, magadan, jordan, etcdifferent terrain , different weather, restrictions normal animals but even fantasy monsters attack u sometimesu have rpg dnd stats but more of a christian version of course and skill checks d20 style for very easy easy, moderate, difficult, or extreme challenges, for example:perception : 10 (intelligence + wisdom)search : 9 (int + patienceclimb : 8 (willpower + strengthjump : 10 ( strength + agilitybalance : 9 ( agility + willpower stealth : 10 ( wisdom + speedconversation : charisma + virtuedefend ( agility + speed)attack : ( strength + willpower)fear : ( willpower + resiliencedetermination : ( willpower + patienceweapon use?wilderness lore?luck?and finally what u all been waiting for, the GOAL /AIM/PURPOSE of the game…well, apart form becoming a christian its based on points as i mentioned, of course you can become a percecutioner even killing ordinary christians , but this will be heavy penalized in the score at the end of the game of course, also this will be very limited like the last one or two months if u rejected christianity the second time around, so instead of helping out in sidequests and minigames the christians to spread Christianity u can do whatever else u want killing animals, ppl, maybe stealing stuff, (ON PURPOSE after the 8 month ingame!! before that u can only defend ur self against attacks, not attack yerself…!!!, very important,) basically going back to the life u had before u left rome as an independent renegade or rejoin the roman army for duty, minigames, sidequests, etcif u have any questions estins, pls feel free to send me a comment, ill be happy to do feedbacks, brainstorming, support, etc, i have many idea's, thank u and god blessπŸ˜€πŸ˜€βœοΈβœοΈπŸ›πŸ›β›ͺβ›ͺπŸ’’πŸ’’πŸ’’βœ‘οΈβœ‘οΈπŸ•ŽπŸ•ŽπŸ™‚πŸ™‚

  3. I am not a Christian. I am an Atheist. I do love games and like hearing your opinion on games. Many in my family are Christian and I wanted to see what games you thought they might enjoy.

Why not make a top 5 instead of a top 10. You did not seem to like the bottom few games that much.

  4. Redemption has a board game and card game version. May be hard to find now though.

  5. I am a Christian and I wrestled with this recently with a mini expansion for Mare Nostrum, where one could get Jesus as a leader. I just can't do it. That's my Lord and Savior and the idea of putting his likeness in a game just makes me feel like I'm dishonoring what He has done for us. I would definitely NOT put anyone else who does feel comfortable with it in the same boat as me and say that THEY are dishonoring him. I know you touched on it briefly with AD 30, but could you maybe flesh out your viewpoint on why it doesn't bother you? I'm not trying to debate you or pick apart your opinion, but I just want to understand another's view. I have no doubts that a place is being prepared for both us πŸ™‚

  6. I would be interested in seeing an updated list after some more games come out. I have Kings of Israel and Commissioned, both are fantastic games. While there are similarities to some mechanisms in Pandemic the feel I get when playing them is so different. The cards in Kings make my experience different. I'd be interested in the worker placement one if I run into it. Thanks!
