TV Games Reviews #123: Jakks Pacific Hero Portal Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

How the hell did I get myself into this Plug & Play abomination?

Hey guys, I would have this up on Friday, but since this came out recently and was very excited about this one, I just had to have it up early!

Here it is, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Heroes in a Half Shell Plug It In & Play Hero Portal, one of the three new Hero Portals that are similar to Skylanders released by Jakks Pacific in 2014! Even HotGen, who developed many TV Games for Jakks over the years, returns to developed the Hero Portals!

Using toy figures similar to Skylanders, you place the figure on the Hero Portal base unit and it comes to life to play in the game! You can also place a secondary figure on the portal to assist with your special attack.

There’s also DC Comics Super Heroes: The Watchtower and Power Rangers Super Megaforce: Legendary Power Hero Portals! I Have no idea if I will get the other Hero Portals and review them, cause they are costly with a $40 price tag.

Each Hero Portal also has two booster packs with two figures each. Each additional figure can access certain minigame areas. The booster packs retail for $9 at Walmart.
